Melin Acikel was born in Germany, with great Passion next to playing the Piano and Accordeon at the age of 5 and then she chose the BASSOON with"Love of deep notes" at the Music Karussell of the Reinickendorf Music School under Andreas Zenke. After only one year of bassoon lessons and already solo appearances at the Berlin woodwind workshop she already passed the Study preparation exam and achieved within this time at Jugendmusiziert the 1st prize at the Berlin regional level.
